A shuttle kiln is a car-bottom intermittent kiln, in which one or multiple kiln cars can be loaded. Because the kiln cars move in and out like a drawer, it is also called a "drawer kiln." Widely used in ceramics, building materials, and related industries, the shuttle kiln is well known for its excellent sealing performance, uniform temperature distribution, and remarkable energy-saving effect.
Our product pricing is customized according to your production capacity requirements and detailed project drawings, ensuring the most cost-effective solution for your brick plant.
Kiln Door: Steel shell with rail-guided movement. Refractory lining same as kiln wall, multi-layer insulation, total thickness about 500 mm; equipped with motor, reducer, and gear drive.
Kiln Car: Frame welded with channel steel and I-beams, fitted with cast steel wheels, 45# steel axles, and high-temperature bearings. High mechanical strength. Car size approx. 3.0 m (L) × 3.15 m (W). Equipped with 4 kiln cars (2 inside, 2 outside).
Excellent sealing ensures temperature uniformity and energy efficiency:
Burners: 20 high-speed burners, staggered arrangement along the lower sidewalls, jetting upward. Small-flow multi-point layout ensures fast heating, even temperature, and complete combustion.
Control Mode: Gas flow manually regulated by flow meters; high-speed burners stir the atmosphere, improving kiln temperature uniformity.
Pipeline System:
Rear-side bottom exhaust design: hot gases flow upward through convection heating, then pass through flues beneath the kiln car to the exhaust port, finally extracted by induced draft fans.
Equipped with 2 × 15 kW exhaust fans (one standby), with cold-air damper and temperature monitoring for safe operation.
